Produce Serving Sizes

People are confused about serving sizes when it comes to produce. Here's a nice breakdown to clarify things:
-1 piece of fresh fruit

-1/4 cup dried fruit

-3/4 cup of 100% fruit juice

-1/2 cup cooked or canned fruit

-1 melon wedge

-1/2 cup berries

-1/2 cup of raw or cooked vegetables

-1 cup of raw leafy vegetables
Also, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has a great web site dedicated to fruits & veggies and has a section where it gives you feedback (including recipes!) as to the # of servings you need each day based on your age and activity level. Check it out here:
